The Shaolin Drunk Monkey is a 1981 Hong Kong martial arts comedy-drama directed by Godfrey Ho and Jeong-yong Kim, blending action, humor, and revenge themes. The story follows Mo, a chef who works at a kung fu school but is dismissed for skipping work and attempting to learn martial arts on his own. After being kicked out, Mo finds work at a local restaurant but soon gets into trouble with local bullies — who are actually henchmen for Silver Eagle, a silver-haired villain obsessed with proving himself the greatest fighter. Silver Eagle has killed Mo’s master, prompting Mo to seek revenge.
