"Son of Flubber" is a 1963 American science fiction comedy film directed by Robert Stevenson and produced by Walt Disney Productions. It is the sequel to "The Absent-Minded Professor" and the first sequel to a Disney film. The film follows Professor Ned Brainard, who has perfected a high-bouncing substance called Flubber that can levitate an automobile and cause athletes to bounce into the sky. The discovery of Flubber has not brought him or his college the riches he thought, and he hopes to find a solution in the form of Flubbergas, which can change the weather. However, his experiments with Flubbergas face government interference and his wife's frustration.
