"Final Destination 5" begins with Sam Lawton (Nicholas D'Agosto) and his colleagues heading to a corporate retreat. As their bus crosses the North Bay Bridge, Sam experiences a terrifying premonition of the bridge collapsing due to high winds, resulting in the deaths of his friends and coworkers. In a panic, he convinces several people, including his ex-girlfriend Molly Harper (Emma Bell), his friend Peter Friedkin (Arlen Escarpeta), and their boss Dennis Lapman (David Koechner), to leave the bus just moments before the bridge crumbles, killing many others.
