Come Drink with Me (Dà Zuì Xiá), directed by King Hu and produced by Shaw Brothers Studio, is a 1966 Hong Kong wuxia classic set during the Ming dynasty. It stars Cheng Pei-pei as Golden Swallow, a skilled martial artist and the governor’s daughter, sent to rescue her kidnapped younger brother, Zheng Bi-qiu, the provincial magistrate. Bi-qiu is abducted by the bandit leader Jade-Faced Tiger (played by Yueh Hua), who demands the release of his imprisoned master in exchange for the boy’s life. The governor sends Golden Swallow — disguised as a man — to infiltrate Tiger’s gang. She proves herself a formidable swordswoman, defeating bandits at a local inn and narrowly escaping a later ambush
