"Bee Gees: In Our Own Time" is a 2010 biographical music documentary directed by Skot Bright, chronicling the extraordinary career of the legendary pop group from their humble beginnings in Manchester, England, through their rise to global stardom in the 1970s, and into the present. The film follows the Gibb brothers — Barry, Robin, and Maurice — from their early days in Manchester, their move to Australia in 1958, and their eventual breakthrough in the UK and beyond. It traces their journey from modest roots to international fame, highlighting their evolution from a psychedelic rock band in the 1960s to defining the disco era with hits like Stayin’ Alive, Night Fever, and You Win Again. Narrated in their own words by Barry and Robin Gibb, the documentary features new high-definition interviews (filmed before Robin’s death in 2012) and archival footage of Maurice (who died in 2003). It blends personal reflections with live performances, TV appearances, home movies, and video clips of their greatest hits, including You Should Be Dancing, Massachusetts, Jive Talkin’, How Deep Is Your Love, and collaborations with artists like Barbra Streisand and Celine Dion.
