The 2009 BBC adaptation of Wuthering Heights stars Tom Hardy as Heathcliff and Charlotte Riley as Cathy. The series follows the passionate, yet doomed love story between Heathcliff, a foundling raised at Wuthering Heights, and Cathy, the daughter of the house. Their intense connection is complicated by class differences and other relationships, leading to a cycle of revenge and heartbreak.
