In Season 4 of "Weeds", after the destruction of Agrestic, the Botwin family relocates to Ren Mar, a fictional town near the US-Mexico border. Nancy enters a dangerous partnership with the Mexican cartel, working for a tunnel operation and beginning a relationship with its leader, Esteban. Meanwhile, Celia also moves to Ren Mar, facing her own problems, while Silas and Doug open a medicinal marijuana store. Shane also begins to exhibit a darker side.
