Hard Justice 2005 was the inaugural event under TNA’s new monthly PPV schedule, held on May 15, 2005 at the TNA Impact! Zone in Orlando, Florida, with an attendance of 775 fans. It marked a pivotal moment in TNA’s transition from a weekly to a monthly PPV format, blending established stars with emerging talent and delivering high stakes matches across multiple divisions. The night opened with a ten-bell salute to Chris Candido, who had died two weeks earlier from complications after a previous PPV. A 30-minute pre-show featured several matches, including a Clockwork Orange House of Fun bout where Raven defeated Sean Waltman.
