The Queens of Comedy is a 2001 American stand-up comedy film directed by Steve Purcell. It is a direct spin-off of The Original Kings of Comedy and follows the performances and behind-the-scenes conversations of four black, female stand-up comedians at Memphis, Tennessee's Orpheum Theatre. The film features Laura Hayes, Adele Givens, Sommore, and Mo'Nique, who deliver provocative jokes about body size, men's habits, and even former President Bill Clinton. The film also includes footage of the queens on the town having fun and a return appearance on The Mo'Nique Show eight years later.
