The Prophecy 3: The Ascent (2000) is the final installment in the The Prophecy trilogy, directed by Patrick Lussier and starring Christopher Walken as the Archangel Gabriel. As the war in Heaven and on Earth intensifies, Pyriel, the ruthless Angel of Genocide, rises to power with the intent to destroy all humanity. The only being capable of stopping him is Danyael Rosales, a half-angel, half-human Nephilim born of an angel and a mortal woman. Danyael, a street preacher haunted by the deaths of his parents and the angel from the previous film, is unaware of his destiny until he is guided by Gabriel, a fallen angel who has spent years in human form after being punished for past misdeeds.
