Ned Cruz, a Los Angeles private investigator, is hired by a recently paroled Russian boxer named Anton to find a mysterious woman called Lexie Persimmon, who has been sending him letters and is believed to be hiding $30 million in blood diamonds. Ned is skeptical, as he has no photo of Lexie, and the job quickly turns dangerous.
