Their long-term handler, Martha, is compromised and forced to consider a dangerous, potentially life-ending escape to Russia, while Nina's continued efforts in a Soviet labor camp to gain her freedom end in execution. The season concludes with Paige and her ex-boyfriend, Matthew, sharing a kiss, and Philip's enraged paternal reaction to this developing relationship.
