The documentary "Summer of Soul (...or, When the Revolution Could Not Be Televised)" is a powerful exploration of the 1969 Harlem Cultural Festival, a series of music concerts held in Harlem, New York City, to celebrate African-American music and culture and promote Black pride and unity. The festival, also known as "Black Woodstock," took place over six weeks and was a significant event in American history, but its footage was largely forgotten.
