Sonic Rush is a 2005 Nintendo DS platformer where Sonic the Hedgehog must team up with a new character, Blaze the Cat, to stop Dr. Eggman and his doppelgänger, Eggman Nega, from merging their worlds. The plot unfolds as Eggman Nega steals the Sol Emeralds from Blaze's dimension, forcing her into Sonic's world and creating a spacetime tear that threatens both universes. Their stories intertwine as they chase the emeralds, leading to a final confrontation where the two heroes must work together.
