Shellshock 2: Blood Trails is a 2009 first-person shooter developed by Rebellion Derby and published by Eidos Interactive for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360. It serves as a sequel to Shellshock: Nam '67, shifting from a third-person shooter to a more traditional FPS with survival horror elements. Two years after the events of Shellshock: Nam '67, U.S. Army Sgt. Jack Griffin brings newly drafted Private Nathaniel “Nate” Walker to a secret military base in Vietnam. Griffin explains that the U.S. has paid a man named Whiteknight to develop a biological weapon for the war, but the transport plane carrying it was shot down. The only survivor from the mission was Nate’s older brother, Caleb “Cal” Walker, who was infected with the virus and has since gone mad.
