Dark Victory: Bettie Davis enjoyed one of her signature roles as a spoiled socialite facing terminal illness - with friend Reagan among those helping her toward a last chance to give her life meaning.

Knute Rockne All American: Young Norwegian immigrant Knute Rockne (Pat O'Brien) enrolls at Notre Dame University and becomes the first star of its hitherto undistinguished football team, inventing the forward pass among other innovations. Coaching the team after his playing days are through, Rockne turns the school into a football powerhouse thanks in part to freshman halfback George Gipp (Ronald Reagan), whose sudden illness provides the team with its motivation to fight against a bigger, stronger opponent.

Kings Row: In the 1890s, friends from both sides of the tracks in the village of Kings Row look for love despite the barriers of family and class. Aspiring doctor Parris Mitchell (Robert Cummings) loves the mysterious Cassandra Tower (Betty Field), despite her dark family secrets. Drake McHugh (Ronald Reagan) loses his trust fund and must go to work, but when his legs are amputated after an accident, his depression colors his relationship with feisty working-class girl Randy Monaghan (Ann Sheridan).

Desperate Journey: A Royal Air Force bomber with a mission to destroy a rail line crash-lands in Germany after the commanding pilot is shot. The surviving crew, led by Flight Lt. Terry Forbes (Errol Flynn) and including Johnny Hammond (Ronald Reagan) and Jed Forest (Arthur Kennedy), flee the plane as it explodes, but German soldiers capture them and place them in a prison camp. Terry's ability to speak German provides the men a way to overcome the guards and attempt a cross-country escape fraught with peril.

This is the Army: As the United States enters World War I in 1917, newly married actor Jerry Jones puts on an all-infantry musical to raise his fellow soldiers' morale. At the dawn of World War II, as his own son, Johnny, ponders whether to marry his sweetheart, Eileen, Jerry and his old Army buddies -- including Eileen's father, Eddie Dibble-- decide to put on a new show for the boys marching off to battle just as they did years ago.

The Hasty Heart: On the last day of World War II, Scottish soldier Lachlan MacLachlan (Richard Todd) is shot in the lower back and needs to be treated at the local medical unit in Burma before he can return home. His stay is lengthened, however, and when his nurse (Patricia Neal) asks why, she learns that his wound is fatal. With the help of an American patient (Ronald Reagan), the staff and other patients at the hospital try to make the Scot's final days happy. But things get ugly when he learns the truth.

Storm Warning: A traveling dress model (Ginger Rogers) stops in a Southern town to visit her sister, who has married a Ku Klux Klan member. While there, she helps the district attorney (Ronald Reagan) prosecute Klan members after she witnesses them commit a murder.

The Winning Team: In 1908 Nebraska, young Grover Cleveland Alex Alexander (Ronald Reagan) saves to buy a farm for himself and his fiancée, Aimee (Doris Day), but also longs to realize his dream of playing baseball. His pitching skills win him a position on an Illinois team, but an injury almost ruins his chance. Once he recovers, he and Aimee wed, and he returns to baseball and begins an increasingly successful career -- until he's diagnosed with epilepsy, which he struggles to hide from the public and Aimee.
