Frank Walsh (Nicolas Cage) is a skilled big-game hunter who specializes in capturing rare and dangerous animals for zoos. In the Brazilian rainforest, he illegally tranquilizes a 400‑pound white jaguar — considered a “man‑eater” and local evil spirit — and plans to sell it for a fortune. His assistant refuses to help move it due to superstition.
