"Precious" is a 2009 drama film that follows Claireece "Precious" Jones, a 16-year-old girl who is illiterate, overweight, and pregnant for the second time by her father, who has sexually abused her. Living in a dysfunctional household with her abusive mother, Precious faces numerous challenges, including emotional and physical abuse, social isolation, and the struggle to find her identity and self-worth.
