Personal Effects (2009) is a romantic drama about Walter (Ashton Kutcher), a young wrestler dealing with his sister's brutal murder, who forms a bond with Linda (Michelle Pfeiffer), an older widow whose husband was murdered, at a grief support group. They navigate their shared grief, trauma, and a blossoming romance while dealing with her deaf son's anger and awaiting trial verdicts.
