One of the first African-led bands to break into the British mainstream, Osibisa helped define the sound of Afro-rock in 1970s Europe. Formed in London by Ghanaian saxophonist Teddy Osei, the group fused highlife traditions with rock, jazz, funk, soul, and psychedelic influences-creating a vibrant, globally resonant sound.
