In the sun-drenched streets of Venice, Los Angeles, private investigator Steve Ford (Bruce Willis) is hired by his assistant John to track down a mysterious woman named Nola. As Ford becomes romantically entangled with her, he learns she was hired by her vengeful brothers, who initially sent him to find her. The situation turns dangerous when Ford’s beloved dog, Buddy, is stolen by the ruthless gang leader Spyder (Jason Momoa).
