"My Lady of Whims" is a 1925 American silent comedy film directed by Dallas M. Fitzgerald. The film stars Clara Bow at age 20 and was originally seven reels, with a five-reel version surviving. The story follows Prudence "Prue" Severn, an aspiring author, who leaves her staid home for the wildlife in New York's artistic Greenwich Village community. Her concerned family hires two thrill-seeking ex-doughboys, Bartley "Bart" Greer and his trigger-happy buddy Lee, to look after her and, hopefully, persuade her to come home. They move into Prue's apartment building, where she lives with a sculptress pal. Although interested in Bart, Prue senses he is being paid to watch over her, leading her to elope with the handsome Rolf. The film's ending scene was used in the music video for Queen and David Bowie's song "Under Pressure."
