The Munsters Season 1 follows the daily lives of a friendly, but monstrous, family in Mockingbird Lane, where their unusual appearance leads to comedic misunderstandings with the outside world. In one episode, a magazine names them the "Average American Family," causing Grandpa to get angry and disappear, threatening their chance to win a prize. Another story involves Herman trying to become a wrestler in secret to earn money for Eddie's education, but his family discovers his new identity through a masked wrestling match.
