More Than This: The Story of Roxy Music is a 2009 documentary that chronicles the career of the influential glam rock band Roxy Music, from their formation in 1971 through their breakup, reformation, and reunion in the 21st century. Originally broadcast by the BBC in late 2008, the film blends new interviews with Bryan Ferry, Phil Manzanera, Andy Mackay, Paul Thompson, Brian Eno, Eddie Jobson, and contemporaries such as Bono, Siouxsie Sioux, Nile Rogers, and Chic’s Godlfrapp. It covers their early years in art school, the creation of their classic 1970s albums, stylistic shifts into smoother, soulful pop in the early 1980s, the band’s dissolution after Avalon, and their triumphant comeback.
