Masquerade (1988) is a romantic mystery thriller about Olivia Lawrence, a young, newly orphaned heiress in the Hamptons with a $200 million fortune. She falls for Tim Whalen, a handsome local yacht captain. Unbeknownst to Olivia, Tim is secretly involved with a married woman named Brooke, and the two are plotting to manipulate and murder Olivia for her money.
