Little Shop of Horrors (1986) follows nerdy florist Seymour Krelborn in a failing Skid Row shop who discovers a strange, blood-thirsty alien plant, Audrey II, that promises him fame, fortune, and love with his crush Audrey if he feeds it human flesh, leading to dark comedy as he sacrifices people (like Audrey's abusive dentist boyfriend and later his boss) to keep the growing plant happy, culminating in its world domination plot and an epic battle, with the film's core themes exploring greed, ambition, and the price of dreams, all set to a catchy doo-wop/R&B score.
