"Pieces of the Past" (also known as Kiddy Grade Volume 2) is an arc within the Kiddy Grade series that focuses on the C-class ES (Encounter of Shadow-work) agents Éclair and Lumière as they investigate a smuggling ring dealing in planet-killing "Geo-Sort" bombs. This mission puts them in direct opposition with a criminal organization that may have connections to the Galactic Organization of Trade and Tariffs (GOTT). The plot involves the duo partnering with the GOTT-hating twins, Tweedledee and Tweedledum, and facing the destructive power of the bombs, which ultimately requires a combined effort to overcome.
