The film follows David Wong (played by Chase Williamson) and his friend John (Rob Mayes), two slacker buddies who encounter a mysterious drug called "Soy Sauce." This drug grants users heightened psychic abilities but also opens gateways to alternate dimensions and malevolent entities. The story unfolds in a nonlinear fashion, as David recounts his experiences to a reporter, Arnie Blondestone (Paul Giamatti), leading to a series of surreal and chaotic events that challenge their perception of reality.
