"Puddles of Memories" is the title of a DVD volume of Fruits Basket that features episodes centered on the theme of painful memories and how characters cope with them. The plotlines involve Tohru dealing with the one-year anniversary of her mother's death and Momiji confronting his traumatic childhood, which includes his mother's rejection and having her memories of him erased. The DVD explores themes of grief, memory, and the healing power of relationships, as Tohru and the other characters navigate these difficult emotional experiences.
