"Free Willy: Escape from Pirate's Cove" is a family film that follows the story of Kirra, an Australian girl who moves to South Africa to live with her grandfather, Gus, after her father is hospitalized. Kirra discovers a baby orca named Willy, who becomes a hit at Gus's amusement park. However, Willy's under-developed echolocation skills make it difficult for him to survive without his pod. Kirra, with the help of her grandfather's employees and friends, embarks on a quest to train Willy to use echolocation and return him to the ocean.
