Fast & Furious (2009) sees Dom Toretto and Brian O'Conner reluctantly reunite in Los Angeles after Dom's lover, Letty, is murdered, forcing them to team up to infiltrate drug lord Arturo Braga's cartel as drivers to avenge her death and take down the enemy, culminating in high-stakes heists, tunnel crawls, and an explosive confrontation where Brian helps Dom escape capture before Dom is sentenced, leading to a cliffhanger rescue by the crew.
