The season picks up after the events of Season 2, with Goku, Gohan, Krillin, Piccolo, and Vegeta on the planet Namek. The group’s mission is to gather the Dragon Balls to make a wish, but they are pursued by the interstellar tyrant Frieza and his elite Ginyu Force.
