The Green Death is a iconic six-part Third Doctor (Jon Pertwee) story from 1973 featuring UNIT investigating glowing green deaths and giant, toxic maggots in a Welsh mining village. The plot revolves around environmental pollution from "Global Chemicals," controlled by a sentient, megalomaniacal computer named BOSS. It is famously Jo Grant’s final story as she falls for activist Professor Cliff Jones.
