City of Death (1979) is a classic Doctor Who story featuring the Fourth Doctor and Romana in Paris. The plot involves Count Scarlioni (an alien named Scaroth) attempting to steal the Mona Lisa to finance time-travel experiments to prevent the destruction of his race, which would prevent the creation of human life. It is highly regarded for its wit, humor, and, often, its on-location filming in Paris.
