Crime Wave: Gene Nelson plays the role of Steve Lacey, a reformed parolee who finds himself caught in the middle of a dangerous situation. After being approached by former prison associates, Lacey is coerced into participating in a bank robbery, which leads to a series of events that test his loyalty and resolve.
Decoy: is a 1946 American film noir directed by Jack Bernhard, featuring Jean Gillie as the central character, Margot Shelby. The film follows Margot, who is a gangster's moll and the lover of a man sentenced to death for murder. After Frankie Olins is executed, Margot devises a plan to revive him with a chemical known as methylene blue. She seduces Dr. Lloyd Craig, a prison physician, into helping her execute the plan. The film explores themes of greed, betrayal, and the dark side of human nature, with Gillie's performance as the femme fatale being a standout aspect of the film.
