Set in a dystopian future where apes are enslaved by humans following a pandemic that wiped out all dogs and cats, the film follows Caesar, who has been raised in secrecy by Armando (Montalbán). After witnessing the brutal treatment of his fellow apes, Caesar becomes enraged and publicly declares his contempt for humans, igniting a rebellion against the oppressive regime.
