The story centers on Pleasure Island, a hedonistic resort off the coast of Costa Rica owned by washed-up musician Coconut Pete. The resort’s staff — including Rolo, Stacy, Kelly, Dave, Sam, Jenny, Lars, Penelope, and others — enjoy their jobs while guests indulge in the island’s excesses.
