Cadillac Records (2008) is a musical drama chronicling the 1950s rise and fall of Chicago’s influential Chess Records. The film follows Leonard Chess and his relationships with Black blues legends—including Muddy Waters, Etta James, and Chuck Berry—highlighting the turbulent, often exploitative intersection of race, sex, violence, and rock and roll.
