In "Beastly," Vanessa Hudgens plays the role of Lindy Taylor, a gothic girl who becomes the target of a witch's spell that transforms Kyle into a hideous monster. The film's plot revolves around Kyle's journey to find true love and break the spell, which he must do by the next spring. Hudgens' character is a gothic girl who falls into the protective custody of the transformed Kyle, Hunter. The film explores themes of beauty, love, and self-discovery, set against the backdrop of modern-day New York City.
