In After.Life (2009), Christina Ricci plays Anna, a woman who wakes up on a funeral home embalming table after a car accident. The funeral director, Eliot (Liam Neeson), claims he has a gift to help her "transition" and that she is dead. Anna struggles to prove she is alive while trapped, creating a psychological "is she or isn't she" thriller.
