Season 2 of 30 Rock follows Liz Lemon and her team as they navigate the challenges of a new year. The season kicks off with Jack Donaghy facing threats from Jerry Seinfeld, who is upset about Jack's plan to use Seinfeld's footage to insert him into NBC's programming. Jenna Maroney deals with her weight gain from the Broadway musical "Mystic Pizza: The Musical," while Liz tries to recover from her failed reunion with Floyd DeBarber. Tracy Jordan's attempts to get back with Angie Jordan are also a focus. The season explores Jack's rivalry with Devon Banks for the Chairman of GE position, and Liz's attempts to get back with Floyd DeBarber. Tracy also tries to finish his masterpiece invention, a pornographic videogame. The season is filled with workplace antics, celebrity chaos, and unexpected heart.
