NBA 2K25 focuses on enhanced gameplay and expanded MyPLAYER and MyNBA modes. MyCAREER features a new storyline where players build a dynasty, starting with a game seven scenario and offering a flashback story, "The Heart of the Dynasty", with four story-based matches. The City, MyCAREER's hub, is more streamlined for easier navigation. MyNBA introduces the "Steph Era," starting in the 2016-17 season, and features new Legend Badges and attributes beyond build caps in MyPLAYER.
