The Constant Gardener (2005) is a political thriller about a mild-mannered British diplomat, Justin Quayle (Ralph Fiennes), who uncovers a vast pharmaceutical conspiracy in Kenya after his activist wife, Tessa (Rachel Weisz), is brutally murdered, forcing him to confront corruption, corporate greed, and the ethical dilemma of testing deadly drugs on unsuspecting African populations, all while piecing together his late wife's true character and his own hidden love for her through flashbacks.
