The BFG, directed by Steven Spielberg, is a 2016 fantasy adventure film based on Roald Dahl's 1982 novel. The film stars Mark Rylance as the Big Friendly Giant, who captures a ten-year-old orphan named Sophie and takes her to his magical realm, Giant Country. There, Sophie learns about the power of dreams and the BFG's unique ability to send good dreams to children while avoiding the wrath of the other giants. Together, they embark on a journey to London to convince the Queen of England to help them stop the man-eating giants.
