The Architect (2006) is a drama about a successful architect, Leo Waters, whose affluent family life unravels as he clashes with Tonya Neely (Viola Davis), a community activist trying to tear down a dilapidated public housing project he designed, forcing him to confront his idealistic designs versus the harsh realities of the residents' lives, particularly through his estranged son, Martin, who gets involved with the project.
