Texas Rising is a History Channel miniseries that chronicles the Texas Revolution, beginning after the fall of the Alamo in 1836. The story follows General Sam Houston and his ragtag army, including the Texas Rangers, as they fight against Mexican General Santa Anna's forces to secure Texas's independence, leading to key battles like the Goliad Massacre and the Battle of San Jacinto. The series focuses on the desperate struggles, sacrifices, and triumphs of those involved in the fight for Texas's future.
