Silverado: Rambling man Emmett (Scott Glenn) assembles a group of misfit cowboys (Kevin Costner), (Kevin Kline, Danny Glover). After helping a group of settlers track down a pack of thieves, Emmett and his men descend on the troubled town of Silverado to seek their fortunes. Soon after arriving, they discover that the town has fallen into the grasp of greedy rancher Ethan McKendrick (Ray Baker) and corrupt Sheriff Cobb (Brian Dennehy) with whom many of Emmett's men have unfinished business.

The Quick and the Dead: Set in the Old West town of Redemption, the film follows Ellen, known as "The Lady" (played by Sharon Stone), who arrives with a hidden agenda: to seek revenge for her father's death. The town is under the control of John Herod (played by Gene Hackman), a merciless outlaw who has organized a fast-draw shooting tournament with a substantial cash prize. The rules of the tournament are brutal: contestants must duel until one either yields or dies.
