Other plotlines include Miranda and Steve's decision to move to Brooklyn and the birth of their son, Charlotte and Harry's continued quest for a child, which ends with their adoption of a baby girl, and Samantha's triumphant recovery from breast cancer and solidification of her relationship with her actor boyfriend, Smith.
