"Scanners" is a 1981 Canadian science fiction horror film directed by David Cronenberg. The film follows Cameron Vale, a homeless man with telepathic abilities, who is recruited by Dr. Paul Ruth to infiltrate the underground movement of Darryl Revok, a powerful scanner. The plot revolves around the themes of corporate espionage, psychic warfare, and identity, with the film's most iconic scene being the "head explosion" moment.
