Rogue of the Rio Grande (1930) is a Pre-Code Western drama featuring José Bohr as El Malo, a Robin Hood-style Mexican bandit who robs banks, gives to the poor, and pursues a singer named Carmita, played by Myrna Loy. The plot follows El Malo as he taunts Sheriff Rankin (Walter Miller) after being insulted by a low reward, leading to a showdown in Sierra Blanca.
